Once again Paris Hilton has been linked to drugs and apparently this time, she was found with the cocaine on her.  Police arrested her and a companion outside The Wynn in Las Vegas on Friday night.  Her companion was arrested for a DUI (driving under the influence of drugs, not alcohol) and when they searched Paris, she was found to be in possession of cocaine and was arrested.  She was released on her own recognizance.  Obviously this was bound to happen at one point with all of the recent arrests of her companions for drugs.

This news gives her detractors something to yip about but to be honest, we find it hard to hate on Paris.  There is just something about her that is able to shake off the bad stuff and we admire that.

Sources now say that Paris Hilton hired Las Vegas lawyer David Chesnoff to represent her.  He has represented David Copperfield and Vince Neal in the past.  He was able to get her released within hours of her arrest.  Apparently the fact that she was released without bail is an indication that the amount of cocaine found was very small.  Obviously there is always the “it wasn’t my drugs”  stance Paris could take.  It wouldn’t be the first time.
